David Jones of PRworks.ca provides a great setup for a Valley Wag punch line on AAPL PR.
Apple’s newest anti-Vista ad highlights a PR caricature happily reframing the issue(s) of owning a PC and being tied to Windows. While David Jones of PR Works has a chuckle/cringe over who Apple’s latest PC spoof character (“PR Lady”) might be based on, it seems Apple didn’t need to look very far for inspiration. Valley Wag has the rather ironic (if not embarrassing) Video:
So, other than losing the made for TV looks and gaining the Silicon Valley staple Starbucks, the Wag points to the body language as key to Apple’s message falling apart. There are also some decent comments on Valley Wag’s page. hint.
